System
Administrators have the unique ability to create projects,
setup users, and define security. Then, anytime, 24/7, WiseFiles
empowers you to keep work progressing at the pace you desire
from anywhere in the world.

 |
System
Administrators can create an unlimited number of projects
based on their specific needs. Defending on the company's
business or mission, projects may reflect areas of business
(retail, wholesale), departments (sales, marketing,
accounting), functional areas (customer service, order
entry), or geographical locations. Each project will
support unique user-defined index fields which help
to further define the knowledge contained in the repository.

WiseFiles
creates knowledge by allowing complex data mining techniques.
Searches can run on index fields or content or in any
combination -- across all documents associated with
a particular project regardless of document type. In
addition, WiseFiles supports a number of search
techniques including key word, wildcard, proximity,
generation and Boolean search terms. For example, an
invoice can be searched by vendor name, invoice number,
amount, date or any whole or partial combination. Using
a Boolean search term, such as "angina or ECG",
a medical record can be searched for all occurrences
of a particular complaint or diagnostic test.

Groups
|
The
creation of groups enhances user security and functionality.
Groups can be created to manage access to projects.
A group contains users that share a common security
level. By defining a set of privileges for a group it
is easy to add a user to the system and assign those
privileges to the new user. Simply add the user to the
group that has the rights you want to assign to the
new user. System administrators can define group rights;
any changes are quickly updated and reflect the individual
user's rights.
|
Upload
|
With
proper rights, users can upload documents into the digital
repository from any computer with web-access or local
workstations. Single files or entire directories may
be selected for upload and files can be of mixed format.
Paper files, however, must be converted to a digital
format (scanned) before uploading. Index fields for
common file properties may be populated before upload
to reduce data entry or data entry can also be accomplished
after upload by accessing documents individually.

Audit
|
System
Administrators can manage user utilization by monitoring
predefined tracking tools contained within the application.
These tools allow searching on a specific date or range
of dates per user.
